CCP Application Documents: What to Prepare Before You Apply (2026)
In short
There is no single CCP document list. Compare six partner lists, their lead times and a worked date plan before you file for a named new hire.
The CCP application documents you prepare before you apply in 2026 depend on your programme partner, because there is no single list. Most partners ask for an ACRA profile no more than 6 months old, signed employment contract, hire's CV, job description and on-the-job training plan; submit everything early enough for approval within 3 months of the hire's start date.
Key takeaways
- SWDA (formerly WSG) requires approval within 3 months of employment starting.
- SGTech's info-kit asks for 15 months of the hire's CPF statements.
- SBF's SME list requires an HCDT report within the past 12 months.
- SCALA lists the last 6 months’ CPF contribution.
- SBF's Human Capital programme rejects applications leaving less than 4 weeks for approval.
Your hire has a start date. Here is what the file needs
The file needs three things settled first: the deadline, your partner's list, and who supplies each item. You have a named hire and a start date, so start with the three-month CCP application deadline. Then work backwards through your partner's requirements.
SWDA's FAQ A1.11 puts approval within 3 months from the start of employment. Every day spent gathering paper is a day off that runway.
For each item, decide who holds it, who must sign it, and whether you can start before the hire joins. That turns a CCP application checklist into work you can assign. This page is for Singapore employers preparing new-hire applications.
Why is there no single CCP document list?
Because SWDA funds the programme, but programme partners run each CCP and publish their own lists. So the CCP documents required depend on the programme you choose, not on a generic checklist found elsewhere.
Even SWDA's FAQ says Programme Partners “will require additional supporting documents” in employment-gap cases. Its examples include an individual's declaration, resume and CPF contribution statements.
A popular BizGrants guide asks for an ACRA Bizfile “current within 30 days”. Every partner list reviewed below that specifies ACRA age uses 6 months. Stricter isn't wrong. But it shows why these aren't one list.
Keep funding separate from paperwork. Our explanation of what the CCP grant pays covers funding. This page deals with one decision: which partner's instructions your file must satisfy.
Which CCP programme is your hire filed under?
SWDA's FAQ says, “Currently, SWDA has CCPs across around 30 sectors.” The programme decides the partner, and the partner decides the list. Settle the programme first, then read that partner's page.
Write the full programme name at the top of your file before you assign a single document request. A checklist labelled only “CCP” leaves that first decision unresolved. Use the full programme name when you compare the forms, supporting documents and timing instructions.
The table below covers six partner lists. Find the column for your chosen programme and read down it. Don't combine requirements from neighbouring columns just because the documents sound familiar. Keep the source page beside your checklist so each request stays connected to the programme you're preparing for.
CCP application documents by programme partner
The table below sets six partner lists side by side. We compiled it from each source, read 1 October 2026: SBF (Singapore Business Federation) CCP-SME, CCP-HC and CCP-WSTP; SGTech's ICT info-kit; SRA (Singapore Retailers Association); and SCALA. Partners change their lists. “Not listed” means absent from the reviewed list, not an exemption.

AutomationSG and SSA (Singapore Shipping Association) print no document list on their public CCP pages. SSA's page says its information was updated as of November 2024. Both give an email contact instead. Ask for their list in writing before you collect anything.
The documents almost every partner asks for
Five items appear on nearly every list: the ACRA profile, a signed contract, the CV, the job description and an OJT plan. Each has a detail that trips people up.
ACRA profile. Check its age and shareholder coverage. SBF includes corporate shareholders where applicable. While you're there, review the four related-party exclusions.
The reference date matters, and partners count from different days. SGTech counts its 6 months from submission. SCALA asks for a profile less than 6 months from the CCP start date. Don't treat the two dates as interchangeable.
Signed contract. SCALA specifies “Letter of Employment (duly signed)”. Make sure the copy you hold is signed, not an offer draft still awaiting agreement.
CV and job description. SBF wants the CV to show the start and end dates of the last employment, plus designation. For the job description, it points to the recruitment posting or template. Ask the hire to fill any missing dates before you assemble the file.
OJT plan. SBF wants the trainee and supervisor to acknowledge the plan. The plan must also match the training period: 3 months for SME and 4 months for HC. Our guide on how to write a CCP OJT training plan covers what goes inside it.
Where the lists differ, and what each difference costs you
Each difference costs you collection time. Some partners add company homework; others need more from the hire.
SGTech needs more from the hire. The info-kit asks for 15 months of CPF statements and the WSG Portal Application ID. It also wants coloured copies of the highest and latest education certificates. See the SGTech-run ICT tracks for programme context.
SCALA has its own undertaking. Its list specifies the last 6 months’ CPF contribution and “Letter of Undertaking (duly signed by all)”. It offers to create the OJT blueprint if you don't have one. Our page on SCALA's logistics programme gives the wider context.
SRA starts with preliminary review by email. Its candidate list includes NRIC, CV and highest education certificate per candidate. Check SRA's retail track before choosing your forms.
Wholesale uses a combined form. CCP-WSTP names “Application Form and On-the-Job Training (OJT) with AI-enabled skills (for new hires)”.
The hire holds their CPF history and certificates. Your company holds its financial records. Assign each request to the person who can fetch it.
What does SBF's SME programme add?
SBF CCP-SME adds company homework. Its wording is “Company's latest financial statement/documents; OR Company's latest CPF Form 90”. It also requires an IHRP HCDT report within the past 12 months. Use the partner's list with our explanation of CCP for SME Professionals.
The HCDT and the financial records are the company's own homework, so start them the day you choose this programme. Give these requests an owner alongside the hire's documents. Check what is already available before marking either item complete.
Resolve salary wording before signing. SBF CCP-SME's criteria print at least $3,500 and a 12-month contract. A separate note ties the lower $3,000 floor to applications that were both submitted and approved by 30 June 2026. Confirm the figure with SBF in writing before signing, because the contract goes into the file.
How early must the file be complete?
For SBF programmes, aim for around 6 weeks before the 3-month approval line, and never less than 4. SBF allows around 6 weeks to review after all necessary documents arrive. Less than 4 weeks means rejection for CCP-SME and CCP-HC; CCP-WSTP says such applications are not accepted. Approval and OJT start must fall within 3 months, and training must not begin before approval.
SGTech's info-kit gives you 6 weeks from the employment date to get the full set of documents in. Contact SGTech before applying after that point. Its new-hire estimate is 4 to 6 weeks.
SCALA requires correct, ready documents before registration. Registration and approval must both fall within 3 months of employment starting.
What does this look like for a hire starting 2 November 2026?
Our arithmetic: the example below applies SGTech's timings, SBF's lead times and SWDA FAQ A1.11 to a hire starting Monday 2 November 2026. The practice window is ours.
| Milestone | Date | Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Hire's first day | Mon 2 Nov 2026 | Example |
| SGTech: full documents within 6 weeks | By Mon 14 Dec 2026 | SGTech info-kit |
| SBF's latest safe date (a floor, not a plan) | By Tue 22 Dec 2026 | Typical review time |
| SBF: last day with 4-week minimum | Tue 5 Jan 2027 | Under 4 weeks rejected |
| 3-month line: approval; SBF OJT start too | By Tue 2 Feb 2027 | SWDA FAQ; SBF |
| Practice window if filed on day one: 12–15 weeks | Letter 25 Jan–15 Feb 2027 | Our window, not SWDA's |
File on Wednesday 6 January 2027 in this example and SBF's 4-week rule rejects it: one day late can cost the whole application.
In our own work, approval takes 12–15 weeks, depending on the government. At the full 15 weeks, this example overshoots the approval line.
So treat SBF's 6 weeks and SGTech's 6 weeks as the latest you can file, not as a plan. Our 12–15 week window means the file has to be complete before the hire's first day. That's why we apply for a named hire before the start date, on the route where onboarding begins within 25 days.
Our call: build the file from your partner's page, not a generic list
Plan on the practice window, not the partner floor. The partner lead times are the latest you can file. If your file can't be ready before your new person starts, run the eligibility check now.
Our judgement: organise collection around the hardest item to obtain. A tidy folder helps only when its contents match the right programme.
- For SGTech, ask on acceptance. Ask for the hire's 15 months of CPF statements when they accept, not after they join. That's our advice, based on the info-kit requirement.
- For SBF CCP-SME, start with HCDT. Check for a report within the past 12 months; if needed, run the assessment first. This is company homework under SBF's list.
- For an unpublished list, ask first. Get written requirements from AutomationSG or SSA before collecting papers.
Pull ACRA late so it stays fresh. Don't let it age past 6 months while you wait for other papers. Follow the exact reference date in your partner's rule.
Thin or inconsistent paperwork is one reason files come back. See why CCP applications get rejected.
What to do this week, in order
If you're working out how to apply for CCP, start by giving each task an owner. Then follow this order to collect the CCP supporting documents without losing track of who owes what.
- Identify the partner from your programme. Write the programme name at the top of your working file. Check it before choosing forms.
- Download that partner's current list today. Keep it beside your working checklist so you can compare each item with the source.
- Check Corppass access. SBF lists WSG FormSG e-Services, ApplyGov e-Services, BGP Prepare Role and BGP Acceptor Role. Ask your Corppass administrator to confirm them.
- Collect the hire's items. Check CV employment dates against SBF's wording. If your partner asks for CPF statements and certificates, request them now. Use the SGTech list only for SGTech's programme.
- Match the job title and salary. Compare the contract, job description and application form. Resolve inconsistencies before treating the file as ready.
- Prepare the hire for their section. Under SBF's process, the trainee receives an email to complete their own section. Tell them to expect it.
- Pull a fresh ACRA profile last. Include shareholder material where your partner requires it.
- Diary the relevant latest date. Use the worked example to calculate your own dates. Keep the typical review allowance visible beside the final limit.
SCALA says applications moved to the new Business Grants Portal from 7 July 2026. Older guides may still show the old portals.
What happens after you submit?
Three things happen before SBF can even look at the file. SBF says, “we can only sight and process applications in the system after the above steps have been completed”. Track each step as its own task:
- The hire fills in their part. Under SBF's process, the trainee receives an email to complete their own section.
- Someone from the company signs off. A company representative logs in and endorses the application.
- The documents go up. The same login is where the company uploads the supporting papers.
Submitting starts the follow-up. It doesn't end it. For SGTech, the employer signs the Letter of Undertaking issued by SGTech after approval, according to its info-kit.
If a file comes back, read what can be saved after a rejection before deciding your next action.
Is it worth assembling all this before the hire starts?
Yes. The 3-month clock starts the day they join, and the partners' review times sit inside it. “We'll do the paperwork after they join” sounds reasonable when you're busy filling a role. But paperwork you begin afterwards uses that same runway.
Missing the line is expensive. Under SWDA's FAQ, approval has to come within 3 months of the start date. And, as our home page explains, subsidies only start once the approval letter is issued.
If it doesn't come in time, you pay the whole salary yourself. On a S$3,000 salary over a 3-month programme, that's S$9,000 of pay with nothing coming back (our arithmetic, using the S$3,000 floor of our eligibility screen). What the approved support pays is set out in how the salary support rate works.
Building the file before the start date gives you room to check it. It also lets the hire deal with their part before settling into the new role.
A complete CCP grant application still needs assessment. Early preparation doesn't decide the result. It does show you what's still outstanding while there's time to act.
Check the hire before you submit
Before submitting your CCP application documents, run the one-minute eligibility check. It's free and starts with the hire you intend to employ.
Our own screen starts at S$3,000 basic salary. That's our practice's threshold, not a programme floor. Compare it with the separate SBF criteria discussed above. If the hire qualifies, review our published payment options.
Frequently asked questions
Is there one CCP application checklist for every programme?
No. Each programme partner sets its own requirements, and even programmes run by the same partner differ. Use the table to find your column, then check the current source. “Not listed” means the item was absent from the reviewed list, which doesn't settle whether the partner may ask for it later.
How recent must the ACRA profile be?
The reviewed lists use 6 months, but the reference date differs. SGTech specifies no more than 6 months from submission. SCALA specifies less than 6 months from the CCP start date. Check your partner's wording before you reuse a profile from your company records.
Are CPF statements among the CCP documents required?
No, these lists don't share one CPF requirement. SGTech requests the hire's past 15 months, while SCALA asks for the last 6 months. SBF CCP-SME lists company CPF Form 90 as an alternative to company financial documents. Keep company records separate from the hire's contribution history.
Do I need CCP course certificates when I apply?
None of the six application lists we read asks for CCP course certificates. SGTech and SRA do ask for education certificates, which is a different thing. SGTech's info-kit says proof of course completion “may be requested” at claim stage if classroom or blended training, including e-learning, is part of the OJT. Claims are made after the full OJT period ends.
Can I start collecting documents after employment begins?
You can, but every week after the start date comes out of the 3-month window. SGTech wants the full set within 6 weeks of the first day. After that, it wants you to make contact before applying. Count back from the 3-month line using your partner's lead time before you decide there is still room.
Are the documents the same for existing staff?
No. Partners publish separate Job Redesign Reskilling forms, and this page, like CCP Consulting's practice, covers new hires only. SRA's page, for example, distinguishes its new-hire application form. Check who a downloaded form is meant for before you use it.
How we compiled this checklist
We compiled this reading aid from partner material read on 1 October 2026. We reviewed the six programme sources in the table, including the SGTech info-kit, and quoted their wording. AutomationSG and SSA printed no public document list. The table keeps programme differences rather than forcing one universal list.
Lists change. Check your partner's page on the day you file your CCP application documents, and confirm the current SGTech kit. This checklist may not capture every request made during assessment. The guides on this site are written by Agape Ko, who manages CCP applications for the practice.
General information: programme rules are set by SWDA and its partners and can change; confirm current requirements with your programme partner.
